The 2008 Show Schedule is far from complete, but here's how it looks at the moment.

On February 7-10 I'll be in Richmond, VA, helping another dealer at the 45th ANNUAL RICHMOND ACADEMY OF MEDICINE ALLIANCE BENEFIT ANTIQUES AND FINE ARTS SHOW, held at the Science Museum of Virginia, 2500 West Broad Street, Richmond. The Gala Preview is Thursday evening, February 7, at 7 PM. The show is open on Friday and Saturday, February 8-9, from 10 AM until 6 PM, and on Sunday, February 10, from Noon until 5 PM.

Several times each winter season I set up at Jack Donigian's weekly show, the MILFORD ANTIQUES  SHOW at HAMPSHIRE HILLS  held every Sunday through April 27, 2008, at the Hampshire Hills Sports and Fitness Club, 50 Emerson Road, in Milford, NH. For the hearty, outside selling begins at 7:00 in the morning! Early Admission to the inside show is at 8:30 AM, and General Admission runs from 9:30 AM until Noon. This is a short, informal, fast-paced show. Good stuff invariably turns up and sells, inside and out. Those of you who knew Jack's venerable "St. Stan's" show know what I'm talking about. This is the same show, but in a new and larger facility. I do not set up to sell every week, but I'm less than an hour away, and if there is anything here on the web site that you would like to see, I can easily plan to meet you at the show. Just email me.

Last summer , I welcomed the Summer season in Harwich Port, MA, at the first of PETE'S PICKS, a two-hour "tailgate" show, hosted by Peter Davidian (of Davidian Americana) at Windsong Antiques, at the junction of Routes 28 and 124/39 (Sisson Road). This year the show is scheduled for the last Thursday of the month, starting on April 16. It's a fun place to be on a Thursday morning, and then in the afternoon you get to go to the beach. (Well, maybe not in April...)

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 18, 19, 20, 2008, I will be showing at the GOVERNOR'S HALL ANTIQUES SHOW & SALE, Sailwinds Park, Cambridge, MD. A Sims Rogers show to benefit the projects of the Literacy League of Dorchester County, more details will follow shortly.

In May, as usual, I will be found in BRIMFIELD, MA, at Richard May's field, #514, on Thursday and Friday (but seldom on Saturday). The field opens at 9 AM on Thursday, May 15, 2007, and this show allows absolutely no early selling. The line to get in, however, does form early. Sometimes I also decide to show at one of the Tuesday shows in Brimfield, and if I do, you'll see the announcement here.

On Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25, 2008, I will be showing in Topsfield, MA, at the new Topsfield Antique Market, promoted by Marvin Getman's NEW ENGLAND ANTIQUE SHOWS. More details will follow shortly.

The following weekend, on Sunday, June 1, 2008, I will be at the Cape Cod Antique Dealers Association SPRING ANTIQUES SHOW & SALE, held under tents at the Heritage Museum & Gardens, Sandwich, MA.

I've just added the FARMINGTON ANTIQUES WEEKEND show held at the Polo Grounds, 152 Town Farm Road, Farmington, CT, on Saturday and Sunday, June 14-15, 2008. You'll find me in the space numbered F-17. This is the show's 27th year, held under tents, rain or shine, and presented this year as part of the Country Home Antiquing Festival by Jenkins Management.

Simple whim (along with the weather) decides whether or not I turn up at the July edition of BRIMFIELD. If I'm there at all, it will be at Richard May's field, #514, on Thursday, July 10 , 2008. As always, an email or phone call request to see something from here on the web site is probably all it would take to get me there.

I will be showing at 48th Annual Guilford Antiques Festival on Saturday, July 26, 2008. This outdoor show is held on the grounds of the Thomas Griswold House Museum, 171 Boston Street, Guilford, CT, and runs from 9AM to 4 PM, rain or shine. It will be high summer on the Connecticut shore, so you better come first thing in the morning!

I haven't done much to arrange the rest of the schedule yet, save that on September 4-5, 2008, I'll be back on Richard May's field, #514, in BRIMFIELD, MA.
